This Beko dishwasher model is a freestanding dishwasher which comes available in the 3 main colours, which are white, silver and black. Now this dishwasher is actually very decently priced coming in at an estimated £230. The main features of this Beko dishwasher model are:

As you can see it has good features that give lot of space and adjustability within the dishwasher, a nice range of wash cycles and common features most dishwasher these days have. So compared to other top models of dishwasher some missing features or things to point out are:

–> It uses 15 litres of water which could be considered high to top models
–> Noises in dB is 49 which actually is still quiet and gets a lot of positives for it
–> No delay timer
–> Misses out the timer display although you can see which stages the cycle is at
–> Is rated A for both drying and energy efficiency…still very good.

So really you’re not missing out too much in comparison of price ratio as it is actually near half the price of some top models.

Now don’t be put off by the negatives as not everyone has had the same problems. Even with the drying of the dishes, as stated in the manual, the dishes should be left for up to 15 or 30 minutes so they can cool down. Hot dishes and utensils can produce vapour. There are various reasons for problems that occur however one good point to say is that many have had great customer service in replacing or getting features fixed.

Summary

Overall this is a good dishwasher with high ratings for both efficiency and drying, of course few negatives for the drying though. As well it comes in different colors to fit your kitchens interior and by skimming through the manual it gives a decent amount of information as a whole for both new and previous dishwasher owners. Really if you are not too sceptical about amount of water it uses or some of the missing features as stated above then this can be a good dishwasher for you.

This is a slick, clean and simple to use Bosch dishwasher. Its appearance comes in a black tone which looks great, however, plan ahead and think of how it would look in your kitchen or where you will be placing it up. Let’s take a look at its main features:

• Speed perfect option to speed up washing times

With this model of Bosch dishwasher it includes a speed perfect option allowing you to reduce time of any washing setting that you use. When utilizing the speed perfect option it will speed up your dishwasher although increasing energy costs and possibly not getting the best results. Nevertheless this speed perfect option is a great benefit for many customers who think the cycle times are too long or if you require your dishes or glass cleaned quicker.

This black dishwasher also offers a simple to use control panel that also displays a quick description of each cycle programme. The panel contains a red LED timer to display how long is left for the dishwasher to run, a delay setting so you can delay the wash for up to 24 hours and easy dial to select the programme you wish to use.

Flexible baskets and plenty of space make it a good dishwasher for a plenty of items. The top basket is 3 place adjustable so if you require large plates or bowls in the bottom tray you can quite simply adjust the top rack so they can fit in. The cup and glass holders are also steady managing to keep glasses upright.

The negatives of this particular black dishwasher from Bosch is not much…Like many of our dishwasher reviews the handbooks have not been great and could have been more informative even though this dishwasher is easy to setup and use. Possibly not the cheapest of all models but certainly not too expensive especially for this model that we defiantly recommend. Although this is a great looking black dishwasher that could also be a negative some pre-purchase as it may not suit your rooms design and stand out for the wrong reason.

One of the best dishwashers for energy efficiency is this brand of Whirlpool dishwasher. This dishwasher gives a great energy rating of A++ that will help you cut down on costs saving you money. Of course that’s not the only advantage as it has many features:

• The energy A++ performance rating
• 11 litres of water usage
• Power jets at the back to give extra addition to cleaning those tough stains
• 8 programmes! Including a great hygienic wash that will add an extra antibacterial wash to rid those germs
• Quiet….Lovely peace and quiet
• Spacious interior and giving a 13 place setting with adjustable racks

As you can see above this make has a jet feature which differentiates it from some other brands giving it that advantage of getting those grubby pots and dishes an extra hit of water to clean them.

The only negatives we have seen with this model are really minor…The cutlery basket for starters or should I say baskets as there is two are positioned right at the front beside each other in which we have found can be a little irritating having to reach over them all the time but can be solved by removing one or both! The tablets have been experienced to stick once or twice so there is some detergent left over although this is actually common in many dishwashers…

So you can see there are only the minor issues but overall this ADP8693APC6SWH whirlpool dishwasher does the job by providing a great energy efficiency dishwasher providing a quiet atmosphere as it runs.

The SMS53E22GB Bosch Dishwasher from their Exxcel range. This dishwasher may be a little more up market from some other Bosch dishwasher models but from that it manages to score a higher overall rating. Some of its main features:

• It has A++ performance rating!
• The drying performance is rated at A
• Limits water consumption only using 10 Liters
• Load sensor that detect your placed items and can control the cycle speed and water levels accordingly
• Quiet when running, some say too quiet, they even have to check to ensure it is running!
• 5 Programmes to wash at: Intensive 70 °C, Auto 45-65 °C, Economy 50 °C, Quick Wash 45 °C and Pre Rinse

Like some other models was cycles seem to be a little long and unfortunately some of these cycles are the same although still contains the quick wash programme for a quick 30 minute wash. Also with this model comes the speed perfect option that actually can cut down some cycle time so is an improvement from some previous Bosch Dishwasher models.

Downfalls; Well the supplied manual is not the best with “ok” instructions, but some features are not explained as good as they could be. The cost makes it a bit of a decision on its own due to more competitive dishwashers around that are cheaper. However it is from Bosch which holds a high rating for performance and lifespan. No half load features seems to have been implemented in this model so a slight energy saver feature has been lost there too.

Overall the SMS53E22GB Bosch dishwasher offers a great energy saving model with extra features although it has lost some features such as half load. The biggest problem with this Bosch dishwasher would be the price as this can be a big factor when considering purchasing this appliance.

We rate the SMS40C02GB Bosch Dishwasher at a 4 possibly it would be higher if it was just not as pricey.

This Bosch dishwasher is part of their classixx range that promises to deliver the clean, high build quality that Bosch has produced in their previous dishwashers. Some of its main features:

• Great energy performance rating in at A+
• Great drying performance with a rating of A
• Makes use of only 12 Litres of water
• Half load energy saver, with this feature you can save even more energy when you half fill the dishwasher
• Load sensor that detect your placed items and can control the cycle speed and water levels accordingly
• Quiet…we all love quiet appliances

So far so good, with good energy saving features…but surely there is negatives? Yes this Bosch dishwasher comes with 4 programme features, Pre-Rinse, Normal (65°), Eco (50°) and Quick Wash (45°). So the downfalls, for starters the times compared to other dishwashers the cycle times are long except for the quick wash. The cycle times are 30 minutes, 2.5 hours and 3.25 hours! Of course at least there is the quick wash right? Well using the quick wash has proven for some not to be great for washing or drying, it doesn’t seem to wash real dirty items or grease off of all items and won’t dry them properly but is suitable for those not so dirty items.

Overall this is a good energy efficient dishwasher and of course there will be the downfalls but in comparison to its energy efficiency, quiet noise levels and other features such as load sensors overall this Bosch Dishwasher delivers. Just know if you want a fast dishwasher to clean properly dirty, greasy items at a fast speed other than a couple hours then looking elsewhere may be more beneficial!

The price of this model is not expensive and delivers some good but also not so great features. Firstly the ZDF2020 Zanussi Dishwasher has a very clean and simplistic style with only a couple of buttons and a dial making great for anyone to use. Its features:

• Counter balance door preventing accidents and swinging door.
• Contains an energy saving rating of A
• The top rack is adjustable to fit larger dishes or pots as well as some adjustable holders for cups and glasses.
• It implies the half load feature that will auto detect the amount of items in the dishwasher to save energy costs.
• It has 4 cycle programmes to be used which are quick wash, economic wash, intensive wash and rinse.
• Delay function that can delay the start of the wash.

So it does have some good features like energy saving that will cut down costs to an already affordable dishwasher. But it does have its negatives:

• There is no display to show timer so you don’t know how long it will be to finish
• From customer experiences the racking and design for glasses and dish wear is not so good…as there is not a great deal for much items as well as certain items do not manage to hold steady within the wash.
• The quick wash does not dry the items after it finishes so 15/20 minutes dry time with the door open is required on top of the 30 minutes unless you hand dry the items.

With theses customer experiences and negatives the ZDF20202 model actually drops down in its overall score. The racking and washing performance is a bigger factor of any dishwasher and this model does not seem to uplift those factors even if it is rather cheap in comparison to some. So overall it is an OK dishwasher but for a bit more money there is certainly more efficient models than the ZDF2020 Zanussi Dishwasher

We rate it with an overall score of 3.0 as it does imply some good energy saving features with a cheap and affordable price.

This LG Dishwasher is more towards the higher end of the market but displays a simplistic, elegant and smart dishwasher that looks great in your kitchen. It does only come in black so may be something that deters you away when deciding on a dishwasher.

So why does this dishwasher cost a little more than some other models out there? Well the D145BF LG dishwasher has its main feature of steam, now steam makes it more effective but also has a gentler touch on your dishes. With using previous dishwasher you may have found some broken/scratched or damaged dishes, glasses, cups etc after usage, so this model decreases that chance. Some of its other features:

• High energy performance rating, A++
• Uses only 9 litres of water!
• Direct Drive system helps prevent some breakdowns but also makes this dishwasher extremely quiet.
• Smart rack system, it has spacious and well adjustable racking. 3 rack trays are implemented with this model.
• The Direct drive System not only makes it quiet, help prevent breakdown and make more space but it also comes with a 10 year warranty!
• Half Load and more….

So it may be a little pricier but it sure delivers on the features that easily make up that cost. Downfalls…well from some customers experiences they have thought:

• The racking adjustable features are a little flimsy by moving on their own accord while the machine is on wash.
• Not every wash has been successful, the top racking area seems to be less effective than the bottom basket
• And of course the price.

Although these issues arise with some customers experiences overall much more customers did not have any real issues other than the price though the features did live up to it…

This whirlpool dishwasher model is one of the less expensive dishwasher models available out there and in fact half the price of some. Although the price looks good it also comes with a few downfalls compare to the pricier models. However it is a clean, basic, simple dishwasher appliance that will get the job done. Don’t be put off by the cheaper price or its less appealing features than the pricier models as it has everything you need and require it to do.

Some of its features:

• Energy performance rating of A
• Good grip and counter balance weight of the door so swinging of the door and accidentally hitting any open drawers does not display any problems.
• Racks are steady and glide easily outwards so items can be placed on them.
• Has 4 programmes, quick wash, economic, intensive and Rinse
• Drying performance of A

Of course for its price some of its features will not be a great or superb but then again not all features are required for some. Compared to other pricier dishwashers:

• It will create a little bit more noise although not noisy…
• It uses 15 Litres of water, where the £500+ ones only use 9 Litres
• There is no LED sign so unfortunately you do not get a countdown timer, of which can be a nice feature.

So you can see although not having all the features and having a little less performance ratings of the costly models the ADP2304 Whirlpool Dishwasher still delivers the main and required features of any dishwasher.
